Action – 1.2 Trasnational “Building Bridges”, BE-BE
NGO PROSVASI (Cyprus) & Jaunuolių dienos centras (Lithuania) presenting BE – BE project, a trasnational Youth Initiative under the Youth in Action Programme.
The program was implemented in Cyprus and Lithuania. The goal of the project was to build a bridge between these two Member States of the European Union and of course between the participants in the action.
Total number of participants is 20 – 10 participants from each country.
The subject of the action was to develop the ingenuity of young people, so that through creative workshops and activities to speak and present to their pears from the partner organization their needs, their interests, as well as the difficulties which they face – health/ physical and psychological problems which are common for both groups.
The objective was the active participation of young people and also to become more inventive and creative in their daily life. Participants had the opportunity to collaborate and meet people from a different country and culture. An additional goal was to feel that they are contributing to European integration. Planned activities included a preparatory meeting, local activities and a trasnational visit to Lithuania.
